Meet Dr. Jeffrey Dlabach
Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
A Tulsa, Oklahoma native, Dr. Jeff Dlabach has been a part of the Memphis health care community since 2003, specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy. Dr. Dlabach is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine.
Dr. Dlabach received an undergraduate degree in physiology at Oklahoma State University in 1990 and is a 1994 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa. Following an internship in general surgery at the University of Tennessee Memphis campus in 1995, he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic in 1999. Dr. Dlabach completed a postgraduate fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Hughston Sports Medicine Clinic in Columbus, Georgia in 2000.
Dr. Dlabach's experience includes service as team physician for various college athletic programs; the University of Memphis football, basketball, and soccer teams; Memphis Redbirds minor league baseball team; and Houston High School athletics, as well as coverage of several local youth athletic leagues.
Dr. Dlabach was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the Upjohn and Coyne Campbell Awards for his recognition as outstanding graduate student and outstanding junior in his class, respectively. He was named a Centennial Scholar and was tapped as a member of the Golden Key Honor Society.
Dr. Dlabach is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has authored several articles and textbook chapters pertaining to orthopedics and sports medicine. Dr. Dlabach is married and has three children.
